The 2020 Grammys - All You Need to Know

The 62nd Grammy Awards Gala will be going down on 26th January from 8p.m ET;that is 27th January 4a.m EAT at the Staples Centre, Los Angeles USA.

The event shall be hosted by the beautiful Alicia Keys for the second time in a row.

 A bit of Grammys History
Originally called the Gramophone Awards,(the shape of the award definitely owes to this)the awards were first presented on 4th May 1959 to honour music excellence of 1958.

The awards are presented by the Recording Academy.The official broadcasters over the years have been: NBC('59-'70), ABC('71-'72), CBS('73-present).However, the first live event was aired in 1971.
This award forum has grown to be one of the most prestigious in the world if not in the USA with others like American Music Awards and Billboard Awards.
